Christiane F: Autobiography of a Girl of the Streets and Heroin Addict

Title:Christiane F: Autobiography of a Girl of the Streets and Heroin Addict
Author: Christiane F.
Rate: 10/10
My Opinion: This book dwfinately gave me the chills. I mean, this is REAL LIFE here, people, not a fiction book. This girl went through all this. It's scary to know that these things happen and how easy it can be to give into drugs...
Plot: The book is based on a real life story of a girl who started taking drugs at as young as 12. By the time she was 14, she was a junkie and prostitute, mainly at the then-largest train station of West Berlin, Bahnhof Zoo. Here she became part of a notorious group of teen aged drug-users and prostitutes

Title:Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys
Author: Kate Brian
Rate:10/10
My Opinion: This book was hil.ar.ious!! And so much fun to read!Definately fit for someone who is shy or uncomfortable (or just despises boys) around boys (like myself :D)
Plot: When she was nine, Megan Meade met a group of terrible, mean, Popsicle-goo-covered boys, the sons of her father's friend -- the McGowan boys. All seven of 'em. Now, seven years later, Megan's army doctor parents are shipping off to Korea and Megan is being sent to live with the little monsters, who are older now and quite different than she remembered them.

Living in a house with seven boys will give Megan, who has never even been kissed, the perfect opportunity to learn everything there is to know about boys. And she'll send all her notes to her best friend, Tracy, in...

Series: Book I of 'Paranormalcy Series'
Rate: 10/10
My Opinion: Oh Bleep! Words can't desribe how much I loved this book! The style of writing, the problems, the attitude-it was all a great read!
Plot: Sixteen-year-old Evie’s job is bagging and tagging paranormals. Possessing the strange ability to see through their glamours, she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. But when someone–or something–starts taking out the vamps, werewolves, and other odd beasties she’s worked hard to help become productive members of society, she’s got to figure it out before they all disappear and the world becomes utterly normal. Normal is so overrated.

My Opinion: I LOVED this book! It lingered in my head for a long time after I read it and I definately (I tend to say that word a lot) liked it! I loved it!Read it-you will not regret it ;)I also loved the author's style of writing!
Plot:
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

The Summoning

Title: The Summoning
Author: Kelley Armstrong
Series: Book I Of 'Darkest Powers'
Rate:11/10
My Opinion:I am in LOVE with this book-it was my very first paranormal/romance(kind of)/young adult book.I love how from being obssesed over vamps, I started liking werewolves thanks to this book-no,don't x out yet, the main character is NOT the tipical werewolf/vamp. She's a....*drumroll please* a necromancer!I'm in love with the characters (especially Derek)and I love this book-heck,this SERIES, more than I will ever love anything else,so please share the love and read this.K thanks bye :)
Plot:
Chloe Saunders sees dead people. Yes, like in the films. The problem is, in real life saying you see ghosts gets you a one-way ticket to the psych ward. And at 15, all Chloe wants to do is fit in at school and maybe get a boy to notice her. But when a particularly violent ghost haunts her, she gets noticed for all the wrong reasons. Her seemingly crazed behaviour earns her a trip to Lyle House, a centre for disturbed teens.
At first Chloe is determined to keep her head down. But then her room mate disappears after confessing she has a poltergeist, and some of the other patients also seem to be manifesting paranormal behaviour. Could that be a coincidence? Or is Lyle House not quite what it seems…? Chloe realizes that if she doesn’t uncover the truth, she could be destined for a lifetime in a psychiatric hospital. Or could her fate be even worse…? Can she trust her fellow students, and does she dare reveal her dark secret?

My Soul To Take

Title: My Soul To Take
Author: Rachel Vincent
Series: Book I Of 'Soul Screamers'
Rate: 9/10
My Opinion:This book is so different than the others. It's a paranormal book, yet it's not about vamps or werewolves; it's about bean sidhes(banshee's, for the uninformed((no idea if that's even a word))).I love how the author takes the story to a whole new level with new paranormals and different worlds.(yes, there's even a grim reaper there!)It's great-definately reccomend it :)
Plot:SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH KAYLEE CAVANAUGH...
She doesn't see dead people, but she senses when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.

Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest guy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about the need to scream than she does. And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason, only Kaylee knows who'll be next...

My opinion:this book was hilarious and wise(if you get me)at the same time.It definately tought ME a lot (and imma blonde, so that's saying something)I definately reccomend this book-it's a quick read and really good.
Plot:
Do you want to be popular?
Everyone wants to be popular—or at least, Stephanie Landry does. Steph’s been the least popular girl in her class since a certain cherry Super Big Gulp catastrophe five years earlier.
Does being popular matter?
It matters very much—to Steph. That’s why this year, she has a plan to get in with the It Crowd in no time flat. She’s got a secret weapon: An old book called—what else?—How to Be Popular.
But don’t forget the most important thing about popularity!
It’s easy to become popular. What isn’t so easy? Staying that way.

My Opinion:Well this book was good, altough not as good as the rest(I have this weird thing about not really liking first books in a series)but definately worth a shot :)

Plot:After a Vampire Tracker Marks her with a crescent moon on her forehead, 16-year-old Zoey Redbird enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx and has affinities for all five elements: Air, Fire Water, Earth and Spirit. But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers. When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school’s most elite club, is mis-using her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny – with a little help from her new vampyre friends (or Nerd Herd, as Aphrodite calls them).

I'd Tell You That I Love You,But Then I'd Have To Kill You

Title: I'd Tell You That I Love You,But Then I'd Have To Kill You
Author: Ally Carter
Series: Book I of THe Gallagher Academy
Rate: 9/10
My Opinion: This book is a really great read-altough the best parts of the story come in the later books.I really enjoyed reading this and definately reccomend it to anybody who likes spies and action stuff :)

Plot:The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is a fairly typical all-girls school—that is, if every school teaches advanced martial arts in PE, chemistry always consists of the latest in chemical warfare, and everyone breaks CIA codes for extra credit in computer class. So in truth, while the Gallagher Academy might say it’s a school for geniuses what they really mean is spies. But what happens when a Gallagher Girl falls for a boy who doesn’t have a code name?
Cammie Morgan may be fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways (three of which involve a piece of uncooked spaghetti), but the Gallagher Academy hasn’t prepared her for what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she’s an ordinary girl. Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, and track him through a mall without him ever being the wiser, but can she have a regular relationship with a regular boy who can never know the truth about her? Cammie may be an elite spy in training, but in her sophomore year, she’s doing something riskier than ever—she’s falling in love.

Now she's an All American hero. Sam just wants things to go back to normal...and to go out with David without the Secret Service tagging along.
My Opinion:This book was just-wow!It was definately surprising, the author definately has a huge imagination. A quick read and absolutaly hilarious (a either cringed or laughed out loud almost every minute while reading it) I definately reccomend this book!
